Any instance of academic malpractice may be reported here (cheating, issues of academic integrity). Do not report any names, rather report the behavior observed. In this way, the reporting survey is not meant to target individuals partaking in these actions, but to provide teachers with a better understanding of the types of cheating occurring within their classes. All submissions are anonymous.

PE waivers are not a guarantee and should not be included in graduation planning. Students have 4 years to meet the graduation requirement of 15 PE credits earned. If scheduling or other circumstances do not allow a student to complete the requirement in classes, his/her CHSAA approved FHS sports can be considered for up to 10 waived credits toward the 15 required PE credits for graduation. PE credit is not earned.

If a student earns 15 credits in the classroom, they will not receive waived credit regardless of the number of sports he/she successfully participated in. If a student athlete earns 5-10 credits in class, the FHS coach approved roster will be reviewed to waive 5-10 credits, not to exceed 15 total PE credits. Transcript entries for waived PE credit will be made after a student's Junior year.

Participation in FHS sports is not required; attendance for each sport is not required and sports take place outside of the school day, therefore student athletes do not receive PE Credit and students are still required to earn 220 credits to graduate. Refer to BVSD Policy IKF.

Student Council will be giving out request letters written by kids from the Cheyenne River Youth Project on the Native American reservation in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The letters will be available to any student or parent by the front office on the bricks, and the presents should be returned wrapped or unwrapped to the Student Council room inside the Senior Lounge before December 9th since they need to be packed up to take to the reservation. When you bring the presents in, please bring the associated letter so the gifts will go to the right kids.

Pack the Truck, November 4-20 Student Council members will be bringing a box (or boxes) to each classroom starting this week to collect canned goods for the Community Food Share in Boulder. The class who collects the most weight in canned goods between now and November 20th will win a pizza party! Be sure to go through your kitchen cabinets and bring any canned goods that would help people get through the winter. The food that Community Food Share needs most are as follows:

Nut Butters

Canned tuna and chicken

Canned Fruits

Cereal and Oatmeal

Soups and Stews

Baby Food and Formula

Pasta and Canned Sauce (bottles may get broken)

Beans, canned or dry

Canned Vegetables

Last year we gave 2,000 pounds of food to the Emergency Food Assistance association, and we are going to try to break our record this year! Please be generous and help families feed their kids during the winter season!

Where else can you buy/sell school spirit wear, holiday gift shop and volunteer all at the same time? We're open day time hours on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and many evening events. The more volunteers we have, the more we can extend hours. 100% of sale profits goes to our kids' teams.
