! COURSE SELECTION UPDATE
Course Selection 2019-20
It’s hard to believe the time for choosing next year’s courses is just around the corner! Please know that FHS students will be receiving lots of information during upcoming weeks in order to make these decisions. In late February, students in all grade levels will hear a presentation from counselors about the course selection process, hear a review of graduation requirements, will have the opportunity to ask questions, and will receive next year’s course request sheets. After these materials are distributed, students will be receiving teacher and parent input about the best course of study for next year in both academic and elective classes. All-School Course Selection Day is Friday, March 1 - the day designated for teachers to stop instruction and give specific information and input about classes for next year. Courses will then be selected via Infinite Campus during the first few weeks of March. FHS Counselors will be assisting students with entering their courses in computer labs. Just a reminder, there is extensive information about the FHS curricular offerings on the FHS website, including the FHS Academic Planning Guide and Course Description Guide. Thank you for understanding that it’s not possible for counselors to meet individually with all 380 students on their caseloads! We have a proven history of students being successfully placed in courses every year and we are confident that students, teachers, and parents will work collaboratively to make these decisions.

! Honor Council Survey
Any instance of academic malpractice may be reported here (cheating, issues of academic integrity). Do not report any names, rather report the behavior observed. In this way, the reporting survey is not meant to target individuals partaking in these actions, but to provide teachers with a better understanding of the types of cheating occurring within their classes. All submissions are anonymous.
