TAG (Talented & Gifted)
According to the Colorado Department of Education, “gifted and talented” students are those whose abilities, talents, and potential are exceptional or developmentally advanced to the extent that they require special provisions to meet their educational programming needs. This description includes students from all socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural populations as well as gifted students with disabilities (i.e. twice exceptional).
At Fairview, the identification and support for these students is coordinated by Ms. Terry Bradley, M.A., a respected expert in the field and advocate for the TAG program nationwide. See Fairview TAG for more information about the program at Fairview High School.
