Connor Corrigan - Head Coach

[email protected]

I swam for Fairview High School for four years, and for the University of Denver for four additional years as an undergraduate. I have a deep love of swimming and of the positive impact that it has on life during the sport and for years afterwards. I look forward to sharing my passion and knowledge of the sport, as well as serving as a positive role model for living the life of a student athlete.

Mary Rose Donahue - Head Diving Coach

My name is Mary Rose Donahue and I am so thrilled to be your diving coach this year. I was lucky enough to coach the BVSD girls divers this past season and am looking forward to joining your community again for another season! I wanted to introduce myself and let you know of the diving website if you have diving-specific questions.

I grew up next to Lake Michigan in Lake Forest, Illinois, and have always gravitated towards water. I grew up as a swimmer and a gymnast and found a love for diving at my local summer club when I turned 8. I joined a competitive club team in high school and the rest is history. In high school, I was a 4-time state qualifier and attended both USA and AAU diving national competitions where I finished 10th on platform at the AAU national championships.

After graduating from high school, I attended Colorado College where I dove with Coach Ellen Walker. At CC, I broke every pool and school record while earning NCAA Academic All-American status for each year I dove. After my undergraduate graduation, I also attended CC for my Master of Arts in teaching, and now I teach 6th grade at Shadow Ridge Middle School in Adams 12.

I first began coaching when I was 15 at the same summer club I learned to dive at. Since then, I have coached for two clubs, Patriot Aquatic Club in Illinois, and Colorado Springers Diving Club in Colorado Springs. In graduate school, I coached for my alma mater, Colorado College, and was the head diving coach at Cheyenne Mountain High School. At Cheyenne Mountain, I was lucky enough to learn the 2019 4A Boys’ dive coach of the year and coached the diver of the year.

Outside of coaching and teaching, I love to run, hike, practice yoga, and spend time with my 13-year-old “puppy” Nelly. I am thrilled to coach in Boulder Valley School District and serve in this new capacity. I look forward to working with such a robust and wonderful team!
