Freshman Parent Communications

Welcome Freshman and Freshman Parents. We are excited to have you and your teen at Fairview High School!

We know that starting a new school can be exciting, but it can also be overwhelming, challenging, and a lot of questions may arise. We have created the Freshman Parent Resource Page just for you -- Freshman Parents -- to answer some of your questions. Find helpful updates on current topics in the "messages" section. You can "subscribe" to get all messages in the link at the top of this page.

This page is run by the Fairview Parent Organization (FPO). The FPO is here to support the teachers, staff and students at Fairview High School. We do important work such as providing food for teacher conferences, organizing community events, and raising money to support Fairview High School. Learn more about the Fairview Parent Organization. FPO welcomes your involvement so if you'd like to get involved please let use know!

We ask that all Fairview High School families contribute $50/student to the FPO. Please Donate Now!

Back to School Night is 8/28/19

Posted on August 24, 2019

Back to School Night is for all grade levels. It's a great time to meet your child's teachers. It's just for parents.

You'll start in the main gym and then get to go to each of your child's classrooms for a short introduction to the teacher and the class.

Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 6 to 8:30pm.

Pro tip: Print off your child's schedule OR pull it up on Infinite Campus so you know where you are going over the course of the evening. You will follow your child's schedule.

First Day of School: It's right around the corner!

Posted on July 31, 2019

On the first day of school [August 14, 2019] your freshman only needs to bring a water bottle, notebook & pencil. That's it. Nothing else needed. The Fairview Parent Organization provides a pizza lunch on their first day so no lunch needed.

What to expect. Freshman will meet their 360 Leaders, find their lockers, get to know other students, and get a chance to go to their classes and meet their teachers. It's a full day, but should be fun!
