Parent-Teacher Conferences: October 2 & 3 from 4:30 to 8:00pm
Posted on September 25, 2019
Conferences are a great way check in with your student's teachers! These are quick meetings--just 3 minutes each. Because these are arena style [read: wait in line] conferences you may want to create a priority list of teachers so you are sure to get to the most important ones.
""Pro Tip**: Bring a copy of each of your student's teachers. Teachers are NOT always in their rooms so look for a list of teachers and where they will be for conferences on the office glass window.

Pro tip: Print off your child's schedule OR pull it up on Infinite Campus so you know where you are going over the course of the evening. You will follow your child's schedule.

You may have already noticed, but you cannot drive into the horse shoe [front of school] right before drop off or pick up.
Pro Tip: Drop off and pick up near FHS, but not too near! South Boulder Rec Center--[They can walk right up the hill to school in under 5 mins] OR Near Mt Hope Lutheran Church [Across from the grass field on Greenbriar]
First Day of School: It's right around the corner!
Posted on July 31, 2019
On the first day of school [August 14, 2019] your freshman only needs to bring a water bottle, notebook & pencil. That's it. Nothing else needed. The Fairview Parent Organization provides a pizza lunch on their first day so no lunch needed.
What to expect. Freshman will meet their 360 Leaders, find their lockers, get to know other students, and get a chance to go to their classes and meet their teachers. It's a full day, but should be fun!
No need to bring school supplies. Each teacher will provide a list of what students need in their class, so it's best to wait until you get those lists and go shopping all at once.
No need to bring a computer. Fairview has a lot of Chromebooks and so your student will be using these in class often. They are welcome to bring their own computer, but they usually won't need them.
