Liberian Education Advancement Program

LEAP (Liberian Education Advancement Program) meets every other week during block lunch in room 420. LEAP aims to raise money to provide scholarships for underprivileged girls in the Bong and Margibi counties of Liberia, Africa. These scholarships help cover the cost of tuition, uniforms, books, and food for girls who would otherwise be unable to afford these basic necessities. Since 2010, LEAP has raised $9,350; our goal is to raise an additional $650 by the end of this school year for a final total of $10,000.

LEAP works alongside Girls Education International (http://www.girlsed.org), a local non-profit that runs projects in Liberia, Nepal, and Pakistan.
