We hope that the following information answers your questions regarding ticket sales both online and at the box office.

  • Online Ticket Sales vs Box Office

    Ticket sales for each performance will always be available for purchase online and at the box office. Online sales will begin 1 week prior to a performance. Box office ticket sales will occur the week of the performance and one hour prior to each show. All ticket purchases are non-refundable but may be exchangeable.

  • Student Presale Ticket Sales

    Participating students in a performance will have the opportunity to purchase tickets prior to the public sales. Presale tickets will be available for purchase online only. A link to the pre-sale page will be sent by email to participating families. You must be subscribed to the play email list to receive this email. You may find information about how to add your name to this list on the main page of the Fairview Theater Page.

  • Online Public Ticket Sales

    Online Public sales will begin approximately one week before the box office opens. The link to the Online Ticket sales page may be found on the Spring Play Website. This link will only be available during active ticket sales times.There is no limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased during the public sales.

  • Will Call

    Tickets ordered online may be printed, or available for pickup at the Box Office before the performance. Please see the ticket sale page for exact times. The box office is located at the top of the school next to the concession stand, to the east of the auditorium. This is right of the main doors to the auditorium,along the bricks towards the gym. The box office will close 5 minutes before each show to allow our volunteers to attend the show. Please arrive early and plan extra time for parking. Tickets not claimed at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the performance may be resold.


FAQ

  1. How much are the tickets?

    $10.00 with a processing surcharge of $1.45.

    We accept cash or checks only at the box office. Please make checks out to Fairview HS. Online orders may be paid for by credit card or Paypal.

  2. Why are the online orders filled prior to opening the box office?

    aThe overwhelming majority of tickets are now purchased online, so we've limited box office hours to one hour before each performance.

  3. How can I get the best seats?

    The best seats are available online as soon as the online process opens. .

  4. Why can someone get a better seat by waiting until the last minute?

    Many times tickets that cannot be used are returned to the box office shortly before a performance. Those tickets are available for resale. There is no way to automatically upgrade ticket holders who have already purchased their tickets. It may seem unfair but it is a risk to wait and hope for a better ticket to be returned.

  5. What if I have specific seating requirements?

    The online process now allows you to select your seats when you place your order. We will assist with needs for wheelchair seating only. Wheelchair seating does not include a seat but a space for a wheelchair. If you do not need a seat for a wheelchair do NOT order a wheelchair seat. If you need handicapped accessible seating because of use of a walker or other physical limitations, please indicate that in the notes of your ticket order. If we cannot fill your order or honor your request, we will contact you.

  6. What should I do if I can’t use the tickets I have purchased?

    Please turn any tickets that won’t be used into the box office as soon as you can. While we can’t refund your money, we can re-sell the tickets or perhaps exchange them to allow someone better seats to the show. Our goal is to fill the house to honor the students for all of their hard work preparing for the performance.

  7. Why do online sales include a surcharge?

    There is a credit card fee and a transaction fee that are charged to FHS by Paypal for each ticket sale.

  8. How do I know that my order is received?

    You will always receive a confirmation email (though depending on your email provider this might take several hours). If you do not receive an email, you have either provided a different email address (associated with your Paypal account) or you did not complete your order. Check your bank account for the transaction or contact [email protected] if you are still unsure.
