This is my ninth year teaching at Fairview High School. I've also taught at CU-Boulder and at several schools in West Virginia. My husband teaches language arts at Manhattan Middle School, two of my boys attend school up at our mountain school in Gilpin County, and another son attends Horizons K-8 in Boulder. We have a dog named Foxy and a cat named Fatty Lumpkins. I hold a B.A. in theatre from Brigham Young University, a M.A. in English and a M.A.T. in education from Marshall University, and a Ph.D. in theory and criticism through the Department of Theatre at CU-Boulder. In my free time, I serve as the co-Artistic Director of Peak to Peak Players which provides live theatre opportunities for mountain communities from Central City to Nederland. I love performing in musical theatre productions with my boys, dancing, hiking with my bestie, finding amazing vintage clothes (especially any book inspired dresses or skirts!) playing piano, reading, writing YA fiction, gardening, and hanging out with my family and my pets. I love teaching at Fairview and I'm excited to get to know you!
