I am very excited to be teaching here at Fairview HS again this year! Since I started teaching, I have taught CP Chem, IB/Honors Chem, and College Chem. Chemistry is literally my favorite thing to talk about and I feel so lucky that I get to do this every day!
I have a BS in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University and an MS in Chemical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. During my master's program, I was a researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory where I worked on improving the efficiency of silicon solar cells. I love talking about all things renewable energy!
I am also very committed to providing a welcoming classroom to all of my students. I believe that every person who comes into my classroom is valuable. Each of us has experiences and knowledge that others don't have, which also means that we all can learn from each other.
When I'm not being a super nerd, you can find me rock climbing, doing yoga, dancing (modern, contemporary, ballet, etc), hiking, camping, or doing crafts like crocheting and knitting.
If you want to find any more info about my class, please go to the Schoology page that students are automatically signed up for.
