Welcome to Mrs. Feeney's Website Here you will find links to class information, calendars, and files that I share for my classes.
Special Notice Mrs. Feeney will be departing for the remainder of the semester at the beginning of March on maternity leave! In my place students will have the opportunity to work with professional photographer & science teacher, Ron Propri. Please contact Mr. Propri in my absence for all things regarding Fairview at: email@example.com. Mr. Propri is excited to be teaching at Fairview! He grew up in northeast Ohio and moved to Colorado to attend graduate school. His bachelor's degree is in physics and he is currently completing a master of education at Regis University with a teaching certification in secondary science. Although Mr. Propri's formal education is in science, he has always had a passion and talent for art, and for the past five years has run his own professional photography business. Most of his professional work has been wedding and portrait photography as well as a bit of commercial work, but his heart is with artistic photography. Mr. Propri is very excited about the opportunity to teach art classes and to be a guide for Fairview students as they explore their creative expressions. Thank you all for welcoming him this semester.
About Me: Mrs. Feeney is originally from Sparta, New Jersey. I studied Graphic Design, Photography and Marketing at Hofstra University in New York for my undergraduate degree. At Hofstra I competed on the varsity rowing team and for the school advertising association in the American Advertising Federation student competitions. I have worked professionally as a Graphic Designer since 2002 in New Jersey for a multimedia advertising agency, Summit County for the outdoor sporting industry and then in the Front Range area for various clients. I completed my Master's Degree in Education at Regis University in Denver in 2006 and have been teaching at Fairview High School since 2006. Outside of teaching I enjoy making my own art, coaching cross country, running, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, swimming and spending time with friends and family.
I feel very lucky to work at Fairview High School and feel that it is the best High School in the state of Colorado.
