I am very excited to be at Fairview this year as a special education teacher. I grew up in Northern Kentucky and went to Conner High School. After graduating, I attended school at Eastern Kentucky University where I also ran on the Men's Cross Country and Track Teams.

After red-shirting during the 2011 XC and 2013 outdoor track season, I had an extra year of eligibility. Because of this, when I graduated in 2014 with a bachelors degree in History Teaching I started graduate school the next fall. During my fifth year of competing I was able to make it onto our team that finished 23rd at the NCAA Div. 1 Championships. During the 2015-16 school year I served as the XC team's graduate assistant while also being a graduate assistant for the university's History Department. After graduation I spent the 2016-2017 school year back at Conner High School teaching U.S. History and World History. After a great first year of teaching it was time to get out of Kentucky and explore a little so last summer I moved to Reno, NV and then finally to Boulder this past January.

After taking a year off from teaching I am very grateful to be back in the classroom and I am looking forward to a great year!
