Welcome to Tim Gesell's AP Comp Sci Principles class page!

The AP Computer Science Principles course introduces students to the concepts and computational thinking practices essential to thrive in future college courses and a variety of computing and STEM careers. Emphasizing these big ideas helps students build a solid understanding a facility with computing and computational thinking. At Fairview, students will spend considerable time focusing on two programming languages: Snap! and python. These languages will allow us to learn fundamental computational thinking principles and concepts, while solving different types of problems.
